The Enterprise FM page has been updated to include three new recordings from October and November 1987.
The Black FM page has been added to the site. This is the fourth Bristol station we have added to the site and more will be added in the coming months with all the hard work being put in to gather the information by mulder. The West Midlands stations page has also been updated again with various stations and dates added.
The Kiss FM Birmingham page has been updated this week to include three new recordings of the station for download. Also updated this week is our new West Midlands stations page. This has had several new stations added to it and also some dates of when stations used to broadcast. This list will be updated as and when new information is sent to us. If you know of something we are missing then please let us know.
The Sounds Alternative page has been updated to include four new recordings from 1981 and 1983 for download. The stations page has also been updated to include a list of West Midlands stations. This list is far from complete at the moment but should there be anything missing or incorrect then please let us know in our forum so we can add/correct any errors.
The Freedom Radio page has been updated this week to include seven new audio recordings for download. The new recordings are from all the different eras of Freedom Radio, right from the very early days of Freedom 106 in 1989 to the later summer 1991 broadcasts on 102 FM.
The County Radio page has been updated to include six new recordings. Three recordings are from Radio Free Birmingham in 1980, one from Radio 242 from 1979 and another from Radio Active from 1979 also. There is one new County Radio recording from 1983 featuring Keith Rogers.
The Pukar Radio page has been added to the site. Pukar Radio is another of our Bristol stations to be added. As usual there is information about the station, audio and artwork downloads available. Other updates this week are on the FTP radio page where three new station flyers have been added. The Second City Radio story has also been corrected thanks to updated information from Kash Money.
The UK Radio page has been updated to include two new recordings, one from 1999 and the other of Paul Johnson doing a show for Laser Hot Hits in 2002. In addition there is also three new pictures and the UK Radio story as written by the late Paul Johnson has also been updated. Another couple of newspaper cuttings have also been added. There has also been a number of other updates to the site this week, the stations page has been updated to include a link to Radio Freedom from Derby and the Quest FM page has had an advert tape added to it for download.
The EST page has been updated to include four new newspaper cuttings and also an Empire Radio QSL card. The Quest FM Dudley page has also been added to the site. At the moment this only includes the station story/information as we currently do not have any audio or artwork for the station. Should you have any clips then please get in touch. There have also been a couple of other small updates to the site this week. The Kiss Worcester page has been updated to include a newspaper cutting and the Misc page has been updated with three new newspaper cuttings added under the various cuttings heading.
The Flight FM page has been added to the site. Flight FM is our second Bristol station to be added to the site, more stations from the Bristol area will be added to the archive soon. As usual the Flight FM page has got a brief history of the station and some artwork and audio downloads available.
The Sunshine Radio page has been updated to include six new recordings and two new photos. The Stations page has also been updated to include a new direct link to a new site which is dedicated to Kool FM.
The Sounds Alternative page has now been added to the site with information on the station and also audio downloads and a couple of pictures. On the EST page there has been the addition of a picture showing an EST T-Shirt.
The FTP Radio page has now been added to the site with information on the station and also some artwork and audio clip downloads. This is the first of our Bristol stations that will be added to the site over the coming months.
The Magic FM page has been updated to include a new recording of Paul H from October 1991 and also four new photos of some of the station members.
The Elite FM page has now been added to the site with station info and a few audio clips. Also updated this week is the PCRL page which has had a new recording added to it and also the Misc section on the site which has had a new documentary added. The audio on this page has also been divided up into pirate radio audio and legal radio clips. The Links page has also had a few new additions added, these are non-radio sites but very useful links. The Stations page has been updated also to now include some Bristol stations which will be coming soon to the site. Just as a reminder if you didn’t already know, in the pirate section on our forum there is a link to a playlist of various pirate streams. Just click on your player and it will load up the twenty or so streams then just select the station of your choice.
The Groove FM page has been updated to include five new recordings, two new pictures and two station website logos. Also in the update is a webpage from the old Groove FM website with their advertising rates. The main site homepage has also been updated last week to include a few black country tower block photos, these will also be updated from time to time and more added.
The EST – Empire Radio page has been updated to include a full station story written by the members of the station. To read the story follow the link on the page. The Freedom Radio section has also been updated to include a couple of new recordings from Craig Benson & Simon B from the 1991 era of the station.
The Exile radio section has been updated with a new card showing the station logo from 1993/1994 and also added are a few more audio downloads from DJ Kidd, DJ Trauma and Wayne Taylor. All of these are from the 1993/1994 era.
The Stations page has been updated to include the new Magic FM page to the site. The Links page has also been updated to include a couple of new links, Renegade Radio and The Pirate Radio Toolbar.
There have been quite a few little updates this week to the site, these are, the PCRL page has gained another newspaper cutting, the Radio WR Worcester page has gained a newspaper cutting and three studio photos and the WR Shropshire page has gained an audio clip from 1992 as well as a new sticker and a report which was published in Pirate Chat in April 1994. The UK Radio page has also had a couple of QSL cards added and from the mid 1980s a short wave technical information sheet which the station used to send out.
The Misc page has been updated with more Anoraks UK news letters and also more Pirate Chat magazines. These additions are now starting to provide a more comprehensive log of what stations were on at what time as its so easy to forget.
