Frontline Radio (FLR) were first heard in the early 1990s. They broadcast from Wolverhampton, initially on 101 FM.

They played mostly reaggae, but also featured some of the then current dance and rave music.

By late 1992 they had move up to 106.3, where they would stay until well into the 2010s.
