Just had a scan in the car as i'm off work today, over near Brierley Hill, no pirates were strong enough to display RDS if they are even broadcasting it that is???? None were in stereo either. Hot was being battered by Radio 3, hence not listenable and the stereo symbol.

Atmospheric conditions bring in stations further afield thunderstorms or sunny skies. I have no idea why though.

Do you not get 91.1 all the time? When I was (mostly) in West Yorkshire Radio Cymru 104.3 used to be a big signal whatever the weather - only 15kW but height is everything!

I can get 91.1 fairly constantly here (east birmingham) regardless of the weather.

Again, I live in a very bad reception area with an insensitive FM radio.

I could get City Beats when they first came on as you will see from my posts. Now I can't. That's a fact.

Unlucky? From the state of the FM dial (legal or pirate) it could be classed as lucky as there is nothing I would want to listen to. The last pirate that was on that I would choose to listen to was Farpoint. I haven't listened to FM since Planet Rock went off air.
