Re: Bandscan
I heard on hot92 on tunein that they aren't on FM currently. Onair the dj said currently offair. Due to heat stroke.
Alot of stations use stereo tool but this doesn't stop transmitters being clean or spronging.

Re: Bandscan
City Beats much stronger now here with RDS.
Hot 92 hasn't gone anywhere. Not sure what the comment above about stereotool means!

Re: Bandscan
Stereotool is a bit of software that does auto processing, and can generate RDS and Stereo.
I can't see how it would make a transmitter sprog or not - but it would control over deviation (or make it worse)

Re: Bandscan
Yeah, I am familiar with the software, I just didn't understand the comment

Hot and Sting like to use it but obviously can't find a serial number "this sound is processed by stereo tool..." can be heard every so often

Re: Bandscan
Mike - I knew you'd know - that was for Mr Bandit, who doesnt appear to be very technical.
I think Midlands Rush used Stereo Tool... We had a play (for Powerhouse) in 2006 - this wasn't bad going audiowise for a pirate at the time - https://www.mixcloud.com/davecartwright ... ober-2006/
