Re: Dazzle FM
Seems a waste.
Although I only read the first part of the page, seeing that they play stuff from the Beatles thro to Donna Summer, the first thing I thought was 'who of that age range would either know the station is there or even want to leave Gold which is established at those eras.

Re: Dazzle FM
Exactly what i said with BCMR. Who is going to retune from Radio 2, Heart or whatever to listen. It just isn't going to happen. There is a reason a lot of these internet stations (especially the ones playing commercial music, specialist genre stations are different) struggle to hit double figures. To a lot of the public (non anoraks) radio is just background and for background music, Heart etc are fine for the majority.Andy Hicks wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 8:12 amSeems a waste.

I wouldn't imagine these days many non-anoraks say things like
"oh i must check out that internet station people are talking about"
"i must remember to tune in to the 1pm-4pm show on local fm"
"I love hearing The Beatles and Kyle Minogue on the same show."
"Time to pick the kids up from school. Let me just get my phone, fire up tune in, search for the station I want, connect with bluetooth".
They are just going to stick the "local" Global or Bauer station on.
