Strange how Ofcom said there were no frequencies available for further community stations in the Mids after 106.9 was allocated in Wolvo, yet now 99.4 somehow is clear enough to put Ambur on it with increased power...

wonder if they will complain when the mad weather causes spurs all over the band from bbc, 99.4 was affected bad from this

Should be okay - other than Llandonna (21kW) (Anglesey) there's no high power TX's on 99.4

Would be interested to know how much power Ambur are running now...

There's 250 kW from both Tacolneston (Norfolk) on 99.3 and Wenvoe (South Wales) on 99.5....don't know how they get to Walsall when there's a bit of a lift.

Ambur are certainly getting out well tho.....

OFCOM TX Parameters have updated - it's where it was before (Townsend House)
50 watts omni
157 meters.
