Sounds interesting mate, Nothing here in Leicester, fancy putting some aerials up and relaying a radio station best station I heard is http://citybeatsfm.net could reach to Leicester we have one station on MW and the reception and audio is awfull.

MW is a complete waste of time.

Frequencies are free are....

91.0FM, 90.0FM (can get relay of radio2 on 90.1FM here) 88.7FM, 92.3FM,

Frequencies here get used by RSL are 87.7FM or 95.1FM.

You always gotta leave .3mhz from a legal station!

From my homework and looking on youtube - Ofcom love interference with stations and no one cannot just call up Ofcom to say that station is causing interference and it has to be the station that does it who's reporting the interference lol. I DONT work for Ofcom just I am glued up on this thing.

I always thought that - but the London stations don't bother and no-one seems to care. Radio's are sooooo much more selective than they used to be.

Yup! I've got an aircheck recorded in Central London of TSOL on 97.1 (wedged between 96.9 Choice and 97.3 LBC) and it's working fine. The legals were okay too.

If i recall, didn't LBC turn their stereo encoder off because of interference from the pirates?

Definately pirates, absolutely not because speech based programming doesnt need stereo anyway!

Whatever, the stereo pilot is there as I type.

96.9 Capital Extra - 25dB
97.1 TSOL - 17dB (deviation is exactly on spec - same as the legals either side)
97.3 - LBC - 46dB

- all coexisting without problems.
