Re: power fm

Power FM i think started in 1990, at least that's when i first heard it.
It may have been before.

Good to hear about a new station, i did notice a dead carrier last weekend on 88.0.
So looks like a good signal in Birmingham.

Re: Where Are They Now?

Always rated Trippa as a presenter a lot, enjoyed his shows from the old exile days through to Freedom. Loved those set-up shows he did on Freedom...must get those on my pc ready to upload one day. I think we're talking mid-90s here. Was that Kaos? I remember they used to say they were broadcasting from a caravan, and used to ...

Re: Pirate Oddities

I agree, it is something you don't hear anymore, i used to pick up the odd 'bedroom' transmission over the years. I remember one station, i think broadcast from a caravan (they mentioned it on air), can't remember the name of it now, but it was between 106-107 round about that way. I think we're tal...

Re: BEST EVER DJ

Best (based on presentation) Steve Kennedy, Wayne James, Steve Walsh, Pete Baker, Andy Young, Dave Kelner, John Saunders, Matt James, Roger Lewis, Tony Fresco, I think all these sounded like they would be good on legal radio, at least 2 of course did go on to do exactly that. Personal favs (not ment...
