Radio Avalon was the official radio for the Glastonbury festival. They were first heard at the 1983 festival, broadcasting for about a week around the time the festival was on.

They were then on air for every festival after that.

By 1992, the station was no longer a pirate station, but was covered by one of the new RSL licences. They continued until 2007, when the station was replaced by Worthy FM.
