PCRL-Logo1 SmallABC FM (Alpha broadcasting Company) were first heard across Leeds in late 1986. They were based in the Chapeltown area of the city and played mostly reggae and soul music. They could be heard at weekends and weekday nights initially on 94.6 FM.

Following some raids and a period off air, they returned in December 1987 on 105 FM.

There was another big raid in October 1988. They were then not heard again until December of 1988, when it looked like they were going to merge with the other big Leeds station Music City Radio (MCR), who were, for a time, announcing as MCR/ABC.

Although ABC were still stating they planned to return, both ABC and MCR were both gone by the end of 1988, and neither were heard again.
