There have been quite a few updates to the site this week. The first is a recording of
Electro Radio from 1988 which has been added to the Misc page. Next we have updated
the UK Radio page with six new recordings, one of which is from Radio Orion. There has
also been a copy of the Christmas 1991 rota added too. The other updates to the site this
week are all in the Bristol section. First we have added a new page for Emergency FM
which used to broadcast in 1988. There are three recordings of this station for download.
The second page which has had the update treatment is FTP. Here there has been five
new recordings added. The Interference page has had one new recording added to it and
the FPR page has gained a copy of the station poster. We here at The Pirate Archive would
just like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year.
There have been a few updates to the site this week. The first is to the UK Radio page,
which has had three new recordings and some information sheets added, one of which is
from Radio Orion. The next page which has had the update treatment this week is Fantasy
FM. There is four new recordings to this page, all of which come from the 1991 era of the
station. The last update to the site this week is on the EST page which has had one
recording added to it from June 1982.
The Sunshine Radio page has been updated this week with eight new recordings for
download.
The Wulfrun Sound page has been updated this week with three new recordings being
added.
There have been several updates this week to the site the first of which has been to the
Fresh FM/Second City Radio page which has had two new recordings added to it. The Kiss
FM Birmingham and Enterprise FM pages have both also had two new recordings added to
them this week.
The Raw FM page has been added to the site this week with a couple of audio downloads
available and also the station logo. Other additions this week are on the County Radio
page which has gained a photo of its studio and also the Sounds Alternative page which
has gained a photo of its MW transmitter. In the Bristol section of the site, the Interference
FM page has been updated to include five new magazine articles about the station.
The Freedom FM page has been updated this week with six new recordings and one
station card added for download.
The PHR page has been updated this week with eight new recordings added and a letter
from the station manager Paul H written to a listener giving some details about the station.
The Radio Ad recording has also been moved to the PHR page as this was a very brief off
shoot of the station in 1988 before their first raid by the DTI.
The PCRL page has been updated this week with eight new recordings added for
download. Also added to this page are two new logos and also a new newspaper cutting.
The BAD Radio Bristol page has been added this week with detail on the station, a paper
cutting and some audio for download. Pages also updated this week are the FTP Bristol
page which has had four new newspaper cuttings added and the Interference FM Bristol
page which has had two new links added.
The Misc page has been updated this week with seven new recordings from various
stations around the West Midlands. The West Midlands Stations List has also had a few
tweaks this week, with a few more stations being added and dates for some existing
stations.
A new page has been added to the site this week for Fantasy FM who used to broadcast
from Wolverhampton between 1991 and 1993. The new page contains some audio for
download and also some information about the station.
The Radio Arthur page has been added to the site this week with audio downloads and
also some newspaper cuttings.
The Bristol section of the site has been updated this week with the addition of two new
stations pages and several other pages updated. A new page has been added for
Interference FM and also for Fantasy FM, the later of which has the normal station info and
audio for download. Updates this week are to the FTP radio page which has had three new
magazine articles added and the FPR page which has had two new recordings added to it.
The Bristol Stations list has also been updated this week with the addition of a couple of
stations. The only other update this week is on the UK Radio page which has had three
new photos added.
The WR Shropshire page has been updated this week with four new recordings for
download.
The Sunshine Radio page has been updated this week with eight new recordings for
download.
The Birmingham Free Radio Network page has been updated this week with five new
recordings of Radio Jolly Roger. Other additions this week are one new recording on the
Exile Radio page of DJ Perfection & Trauma and on the Misc page a new recording of
Fantasy FM.
The EST page has been updated this week with ten new recordings added for download.

The Exile Radio page has been updated this week with five new recordings, a couple of DJ
cards and also a copy of The Exile Update issue 1. Also added to the page is a copy of the
search warrant when the station was raided in June 1991. The Elite FM page has also had
a new recording added to it by Wayne James from April 1990.
The UK Radio page has been updated this week with nine new recordings and also two
new photos, there is also an FM technical information sheet from the mid 1980s and a QSL
card. Other updates this week are to the Black FM Bristol page which has had one new
recording added and also the FTP Radio Bristol page, which has also had one new
recording added.

had one new recording added. Finally a quick thank you to everyone who has uploaded
recordings and pictures to us, please keep them coming in as they are always welcome
and we will get them added to the site as soon as we can.
The Sounds Alternative page has been updated this week with seven new recordings
being added and also two letters and a station xmas card.
The Video page has been updated this week with three new items for download. These
are The Black & White Pirate Show from 1987, Is It Worth It from 2008 and a clip from The
One Show 2009. Also updated this week is the Quest FM page which has had three new
recordings added and also one new recording has been added to the Elite FM page.
The Radio WR Worcester page has been updated this week with three new audio
recordings and four video files showing the various studios they've had from 1987-1990.
The Bristol section of the site has been updated this week with two new station pages
added and the Black FM and Flight FM pages updated with new recordings. The new
stations added are EMI - Electro Magnetic Installation and also FPR - Fran's Pirate Radio.
The Sunshine Radio page has been updated this week with nine new audio recordings and
two photos. The new East Midlands Stations list has also had a couple of stations added to
it also, if you know of anything that is missing from this list then please tell us so we can
get it sorted.
The Second City Radio / Fresh FM page has been updated this week with five new
recordings added to it. Also added to the site this week is a new page containing a folder
where we will be adding more various pirate radio station content that doesn't quite fit
anywhere else on the site. The link to this new page is at the bottom of the Misc page.
The Misc section of the site has been updated to include three new recordings under the
pirate radio recordings section, these are of Black Country 101, Birmingham Weekend
Radio and Power FM. The PCRL page has also been updated this week to include a picture
of the PCRL record label and also three new audio downloads. Also added this week to the
stations page is an East Midlands stations list. As with the West Midlands and Bristol lists,
if you know of a station which isn't already listed or you have more updated information
then please let us know so we can add/correct the list. We have added an upload page to
the site this week also to allow you to upload files to us. This folder will be emptied from
time to time so don't worry if you upload something and it vanishes a little while later we
have it. Where possible we'll try to use as much as we can but there could be a delay in
items appearing on the site. The only other addition to the site this week is an RSS feed for
all the updates which are made. You can subscribe to this feed by clicking the orange feed
button on your browser or by clicking the RSS icon on the left of most pages on the site
and then the subscribe button from the following page.

has been three small audio clips added to the BFRN page of Radio Signal North, Jolly Roger
and Radio Midland Mobile.
This being the first update of 2009 we'd just like to wish everyone a happy new year. The
Misc section of the site has been updated to include seven new magazine articles about
pirate radio, thanks to mulder for these. There is also a new Dream FM Leeds flyer which
has been added. All of the Free Radio News Sheet Magazines have been updated so they
now include all UK land based FM pirate information and not just Midlands information.
