Right then, we have added a list of Bristol stations to the site here and are going to add one for the West Midlands stations too in the same kind of format.

Quite simple just need station name, main freq and dates it was on air, nothing too accurate just a month and year will be more than enough for this. We have got quite a few station names and freq's but it would be good for input off anyone else to help us put this list together. After everything from the very old right up to the current for this one :skull

Not interested in stations that only covered a few streets or were only on once etc.

Would also be interested in creating an East Midlands station list too as i know there was quite a scene over there back in the day and if we can get some content for these stations then we'd also be interested in adding a few pages, any info always appreciated.

I've also noticed a few stations missing from the list as I was looking at it to check I'd already got T.N.T Radio on there. It's on my original list, but not yours. Then I noticed Shag from Chew Magna, Radio 103.5 and maybe some more are missing. I also just found out that the original Bristol Pirate was 'Rebel Radio', although I don't know when that was on air, it's way before my time it seems :D

All these need adding / adjusting Steve :)

Radio 103.5 = 103.5 = Sept 1986 - Jan 1988

Inner City Radio = 101.7 / 100 FM = summer 1990 short lived

T.N.T. = 98.85 / 100.1 / 98.6 / = Early 1990 short lived

Shag FM (Chew Magna) = Drifted = Sept 1991 - Jun 1992

W.L.S = ? = May 1992 short lived

Force FM = 105.6 FM = late 1999

Interference FM = 106.9? = 1999/2000 ? special occasions only

Maybe we should add Garage FM from Cardiff in there too, seeing as it was receivable in Bristol under normal conditions most of the time. I need some more info on it though such as start and end dates (these would be around 2000 / 2001 I think) plus I know it used more frequencies although it settled on 106.6. It was Richie 'Vibe' Vee's station before 1Xtra came along.

I know some Stoke ones that could be good for the West Midlands list? I'll put the details here in case you want to add them:

Lazer 98 - 1988-1989
Naff FM - 98.5 (I think - will need to check the frequency) - 1990-1993

Liberty FM - 101.4 - 1994-1995
Pulse FM - 105.6 - 1995-1997

If anyone from the above stations is on here they can perhaps correct me. Surge FM as well of course in recent years! - will have to check the details of that as well.

Missing from the list

Nova FM (Lazy's B station, various frequencies usually somewhere between 105-108).
Mission 106.5 FM (Birmingham 1999)
